SEMI PERMANENT EYEBROWS
Microblading Altrincham Manchester
Eyebrow Microblading
Microblading is a semi-permanent makeup solution to thin, overplucked or sparse eyebrows. Giving the effect of individual hair strokes. This is achieved by a pigment being implanted into the skin via a handheld tool called a microblade. The microblade creates tiny incisions that imitate natural brow hairs.
Who can benefit from this treatment?
Do you feel your eyebrows are too light or too sparse? Are you tired of pencilling in, only to have them smudge, sweat or fade off over the day? If so, this is one procedure you don’t want to miss out on!
At The Eye and Brow Clinic, we have developed a process that is totally bespoke for you. We want you to have the brows you have always dreamed of and that is perfectly designed for your face shape.
Our goal is to create beautiful eyebrows that match the symmetry of your face and look very natural. You will be asked to make different facial expressions to make sure the brows will look perfect when you smile, laugh and when your eyes are open or closed. The Eye and Brow Clinic will not disappoint.

Before the treatment
A full consultation is always carried out before commencing treatments. We are here to discuss what you want to achieve, including shape and colour, considering your natural colourings and giving our best expert advice. Pre and post treatment advice is also given to achieve maximum results:
Preparation
- Do not take Aspirin or Ibuprofen for at least 24h both before and after treatment.
- Do not drink alcohol 24h prior your treatment and no caffeine or energy drinks on the day.
- Since delicate skin or sensitive areas may be swollen or red, it is advised that you should consider this before making any social plans for the same or following day.
- No tinting, perming, threading or hair removal 7 days prior the treatment.
- No botox, filler, chemical peel 30 days prior the treatment.
- It is important to note that the eyebrow colour will be much more intense for the first few days after treatment. Eyebrows heal quickly and dry pigmented skin peels off by itself after few days. Over the next 3-5 weeks, the colour will stabilise and therefore, we recommend some additional application of pigmentation after a minimum of 30-45 days, but not later than 2-3 months.

Aftercare
- No makeup to be worn on or around the treated area for 7 days.
- No creams or other cosmetic or skincare products to be used on or around the treated area for 7 days.
- No moisture should come into contact with the treated area for 7 days.
- No sweating or exposure to heat for 30 days (unless purchasing Xtreme Protection aftercare cream).
- No saltwater or chlorine contact unless using Vaseline as a barrier cream (but not before 7 days).
- No sun beds, direct sunlight sun or other UV exposure for 30 days (unless purchasing Xtreme Protection aftercare cream).
- No saunas, steam rooms, facials, chemical peels, laser therapies, microdermabrasion, light therapies or any other intensive facial treatments.
- Wear factor 50 sun protection in strong sunlight/UV to preserve pigmentation.
- Avoid active ingredients in cosmetics and creams such as acids like retinol. Vitamin A, light therapies on treated areas will encourage cell regeneration which could negatively affect your pigmentation.
- It is recommended to have ‘top-ups’ on your treated area every 12-18 months.
- If you are planning to have anti-ageing injectables, fillers or cosmetic surgery, these may alter the appearance and positioning of your lips and eyebrows.
