Powder effect - Combination Brows
The powder effect does not mean dark and fake looking makeup – not anymore. Latest techniques have taken the beauty industry by storm in recent years. Here at the Eye and Brow clinic we offer different techniques to correct natural defects and highlight contours accordingly to your face shape. This is an amazing technique which will rebuild, define and fill-in over-plucked eyebrows.
At the Eye and Brow Clinic, we specialise in the art of combination brows, combining semi-permanent microblading (or permanent makeup machine stroking) with shading. It is an ideal option for those who have very little and/or light brow hair. The method recreates eyebrows with thin hair strokes and a subtle mist of shaded colour for incredibly natural and realistic results. We will always find an ideal solution for you due to a variety of different techniques to suit your makeup habits, needs and skin type.

Before the treatment
A full consultation is always carried out before commencing treatments. We are here to discuss exactly what you want to achieve, including shape and colour, taking into account your natural colourings and by giving our best expert advice. Pre and post treatment advice its also given to achieve maximum results:
Preparation
- Do not take Aspirin or Ibuprofen for at least 24h both before and after treatment.
- Do not drink alcohol 24h prior your treatment and no caffeine or energy drinks on the day.
- Since delicate skin or sensitive areas may be swollen or red, it is advised that you should consider this before making any social plans for the same or following day.
- No tinting, perming, threading or hair removal 7 days prior the treatment.
- No botox, filler, chemical peel 30 days prior the treatment.
- It is important to note that the eyebrow colour will be much more intense for the first few days after treatment. Eyebrows heal quickly and dry pigmented skin peels off by itself after few days. Over the next 3-5 weeks, the colour will stabilise and therefore, we recommend some additional application of pigmentation after a minimum of 30-45 days, but not later than 2-3 months.

I had microblading done by Ola, what an excellent experience. From the initial consultation right through to after care, Ola was there and as excited about creating me the perfect brow as I was about having them. There is no one else I would trust to do such a treatment on my face, she is the best!

The best place for treatment and for Permanent Makeup course.
I completed a 6-day basic permanent makeup course and I couldn't find a better place.
Olla is a true perfectionist who answered all our questions and provided support even after completing the course.
The atmosphere was great the whole time.
I recommend everyone to choose a course in this place.

Aftercare
All micro pigmentation treatments must follow post treatment advice and aftercare instructions. Aftercare will affect the healed results by up to 70% and failure to follow our guidelines may affect the result. We provide detailed aftercare advice to ensure your skin remains healthy and that you will get the best results possible from your treatment.
- No makeup to be worn on or around the treated area for 7 days.
- No creams or other cosmetic or skincare products to be used on or around the treated area for 7 days.
- No moisture should come into contact with the treated area for 7 days.
- No sweating or exposure to heat for 30 days (unless purchasing Xtreme Protection aftercare cream).
- No saltwater or chlorine contact unless using Vaseline as a barrier cream (but not before 7 days).
- No sun beds, direct sunlight sun or other UV exposure for 30 days (unless purchasing Xtreme Protection aftercare cream).
- No saunas, steam rooms, facials, chemical peels, laser therapies, microdermabrasion, light therapies or any other intensive facial treatments.
A cleansing routine and customised aftercare kit will be given to you immediately after the treatment.
Ensure your hands are washed and sanitised prior to each cleansing routine. Do not rub or use circular motions on the treated area.
Pigments are 50% visibly brighter over the first few days and flaking will occur. Flakes must not be picked as can cause retention issues.
Long term care
- Wear factor 50 sun protection in strong sunlight/UV to preserve pigmentation.
- Avoid active ingredients in cosmetics and creams such as acids like retinol. Vitamin A, light therapies on treated areas will encourage cell regeneration which could negatively affect your pigmentation.
- It is recommended to have ‘top-ups’ on your treated area every 12-18 months.
- If you are planning to have anti-ageing injectables, fillers or cosmetic surgery, these may alter the appearance and positioning of your lips and eyebrows.
